Maori Language Week

 Hello,

This week was Maori Language Week. We had to do the minimum of 4 create task since I missed 2 reading sessions so I only did  4 . 1st was my Explanation of the Ruru bird. 2nd was my Maori numbers to ten. Third was places in NZ in Maori and 4th was my Pepeha! Enjoy!

 

Stella and Greg

Hello and,
Welcome to another blog post! In this blog post I have my narrative writing here called Stella and Greg. Stella is a character I made up in my head in writing time. Greg is also a character I made up in my head in writing time as my monster when we had to choose 4 animals to morph together to make our monster. Enjoy!


Stella was watching netflix in her room like she always does. Stella has long brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. Stella also likes doing exercise and keeping fit so she is going on a run later afternoon. Stella had beautiful white teeth as white as snow. Stella is very nice and has many friends but she is very she is very shy. Stella has a wonderful expensive house, it also had a pool and a onsweet in every bedroom. Her hiking track was covered in green slimly vines and the stench of the rotten leaves made her gag. But the bees buzzing and the flowers blooming made her forget all about it. She could feel the solf cool wind on her face and when the rotten leaves corested her arm it sent shivers down her sine. Most of the animals fly away or run off when the hear or see Stella except this one little bird. When Stella walks past everyday and normally that little bird would continue on the walk with her. One normal regular day Stella was taking her walk on her hiking trail when shy reached the point where the bird meet her everyday was not there, Stella didn’t think much of it and carried on but then further alone the track she saw the bird the she was meant to meet lying on the ground injured. She realised that it wasn’t a normal bird it was a lion and a phoenix and a butterfly and a pig at the same time. She took it to the vet anyways. When they got to the vet they found out it’s name was Greg but they also sadly found out that Greg had a fracture and I would take 3-6 weeks to heal. Greg and Stella made it home and Stella decided that Greg will be her pet and will come hiking with her everyday.

Student Summit 2020

 Hello

I was one of the lucky 30 people to do the Student Summit 2020. Student Summit is were all the school from our cluster get together and make tool work shops. Our Presenters were Ella and Daniel for Session 1 and 2 and Kezia and Jaydah for 3 and 4. My workshops were Scratch Math's, but sadly I couldn't keep up so I have nothing for that. Second was Stop Motion, it went well until one of the presenters didn't talk. Then we had our morning tea and came back in for our third. My Third was Kezia and Jaydah Embedding Stuff into blogs. Here they are!

My Favorite one was my Scratch Shapes but I was not able to get it on this blog post. 😔

My Milk & Skittles Experiment

 Hello,

This is my science experiment with Ella and Skyla. We have decided to to the skittles and milk experiment because we thought it would be better for us and easier because there wasn't many materials/ingredients. We used skittles, smarties and M&M's. We also used blue top milk that has been in the fridge for about 24 hours. We started off but having 3 paper plates and poring the milk into them. Then putting the candy around the edge. We waited for about 15 minutes and the smarties we are blob mess and the M&M's were okay. But the sour skittles were of course amazing. Enjoy!

Create Tasks Week 8

 Hello

These are my create tasks from week 8. This week was Tongan Language! We had choose a book and I choose a book called Spitfires from Tonga. This book is about spitfires in war and about the special  there years ago. We had to do 2 create tasks this week and the first one is to create a animated glossary with 10 words sadly I was not able to complete this task. The 2nd task was a tourist brochure and that brochure had to have 10 or more facts, I did mine on paper. Enjoy!
